Role Description The Social Media Marketing Specialist will manage and grow KonnectX’s presence across key social media platforms, focusing on student audiences. This full time, on-site role is based in Patna and involves creating engaging content, planning and executing social media campaigns, and monitoring performance metrics. The specialist will handle day-to-day tasks such as drafting posts, designing basic visuals, scheduling content, responding to comments and messages, and collaborating with internal teams to align messaging with broader marketing and community goals.

The role also includes tracking trends,



experimenting with new formats, and using data insights to improve reach, engagement, and user acquisition.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation to plan campaigns and produce engaging content for student audiences.

Candidates should possess skills in Digital Marketing and Marketing to support broader outreach strategies, audience targeting, and performance analysis.

Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to write clear, compelling copy and interact effectively with community members and internal teams.

Familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube) and basic analytics tools is beneficial.

Ability to work on-site in Patna, manage multiple tasks, and adapt quickly to changing trends in the student and social networking space.

A diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.

Experience in community building, youth-focused initiatives, or edtech/social networking products is an advantage.
