Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Snowflake & DBT Developer who can work independently and take end-to-end ownership of data engineering tasks. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and DBT, along with the ability to communicate directly with customers and understand their business and technical requirements. Key Requirement

This is an individual contributor role. The candidate should be capable of working independently, taking ownership of deliverables, and communicating directly with customers without depending on a larger team for day-to-day execution. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake and DBT.

Develop and optimize data models, transformations, and ELT pipelines using DBT.

Work independently to analyze requirements, identify solutions, and deliver projects end-to-end.

Interact directly with customers to understand requirements, clarify technical needs,



and provide updates.

Translate business requirements into effective data engineering solutions.

Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations in Snowflake.

Implement DBT models, tests, documentation, and reusable transformation frameworks.

Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and resolve data-quality or performance issues.

Optimize Snowflake queries and workloads for performance and cost efficiency.

Follow data engineering best practices for data quality, governance, and maintainability.

Take ownership of assigned deliverables and meet project timelines independently.

Required Skills

3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Development.

Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.

Strong hands-on experience with DBT (Data Build Tool).

Excellent SQL skills, including complex queries and data transformations.

Experience developing and maintaining ELT/data pipelines.

Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.

Ability to troubleshoot data issues and optimize query performance.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact directly with customers.

Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.

Positive to Have

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Experience with DBT testing, documentation, and CI/CD.

Knowledge of Git and version-control practices.

Experience with BI/reporting tools.

Familiarity with data quality and governance frameworks.
