We are not building just another cloud kitchen or food delivery company. Our vision is to build a scalable ecosystem combining personalized nutrition, standardized food production, contract manufacturing, distribution, and future smart food factories to make healthy, nutritious food accessible across India.

As a Small-Scale Food Production & Distribution Expert, you will help us build and optimize Kefilo's initial production and distribution ecosystem while creating systems that can eventually scale across multiple cities.

Key Responsibilities Small-Scale Production Design and optimize small-scale food production systems suitable for Kefilo's current and near-term requirements.

Develop efficient workflows for bulk preparation, cooking, portioning, packaging, storage, and dispatch.

Create SOPs for production, hygiene, quality control, inventory, wastage, and daily operations.

Improve production capacity, consistency, turnaround time, and cost efficiency.

Evaluate suitable kitchen infrastructure, equipment, manpower, and production processes. Food Standardization & Quality Work with nutritionists and chefs to standardize recipes, ingredients, portions, cooking methods, and nutritional specifications.

Establish quality-control checkpoints to maintain consistent taste, nutrition, hygiene, and presentation.

Support shelf-life, packaging, storage, and food safety processes.

Ensure practical compliance with applicable FSSAI and food safety requirements. Distribution & Logistics Design efficient systems for meal packing, dispatch, routing, delivery coordination, and customer fulfilment.

Identify opportunities to reduce delivery costs, wastage, delays, and operational inefficiencies.

Develop distribution models suitable for subscriptions,



corporate clients, gyms, institutions, and future B2B customers.

Explore partnerships with local logistics and distribution providers. Scaling & Expansion Develop a production model that can eventually be replicated across multiple locations.

Evaluate central kitchens, partner kitchens, contract manufacturers, and local production partners.

Identify opportunities for semi-automation and technology-enabled production.

Create operational frameworks that can support Kefilo's future smart/dark food factory vision. Cost & Operations Management Analyze food production costs, labour, equipment, packaging, wastage, logistics, and overall unit economics.

Identify ways to improve gross margins without compromising nutritional quality.

Build simple operational dashboards and KPIs for production and distribution.

Who Should

Apply? Bachelor's/Master's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Hospitality, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related field.

3–8+ years of experience in food production, cloud kitchens, QSRs, food processing, catering, FMCG, supply chain, or food distribution.

Practical experience managing or setting up small/medium-scale food production operations.

Strong understanding of food safety, production planning, inventory, and distribution.

Design an efficient small-scale production workflow.





Standardize production, packaging, quality, and inventory SOPs.

Establish production and distribution KPIs.

Develop a scalable model that can eventually be replicated across multiple cities.

Identify suitable equipment, production partners, and automation opportunities. Equity-Based Opportunity This is an equity-only founding team role. There is no fixed salary during the initial bootstrapping phase.

Compensation will be introduced after fundraising and revenue stabilization.

Founder Onboarding

Process 3–4 strategic discussions to evaluate expertise, practical experience, execution ability, and long-term alignment.

A 1-month NDA-based collaboration phase to evaluate actual contribution and ownership.

Long-term founding team agreement.

Equity allocation based on contribution, expertise, and commitment.

Is comfortable working with chefs, nutritionists, procurement, operations, and technology teams.

Bonus if you have experience with central kitchens, cloud kitchens, QSRs, contract manufacturing, FMCG, food processing, or food automation.
