Job Summary

We are looking for a Shift Engineer – Production with hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication and production operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing shift-wise production activities, achieving production targets, maintaining quality and safety standards, and coordinating with cross-functional teams for smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise sheet metal production activities during the assigned shift.
- Allocate work to operators and technicians to achieve production targets.
- Monitor machine performance, utilization and workforce productivity.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.




- Conduct in-process inspections and address production-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with Maintenance and Stores teams for uninterrupted production.
- Prepare shift-wise production reports and highlight issues or improvement areas.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Lead and motivate the production team during shift operations.

Required Skills & Experience
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–4 years of experience in Sheet Metal Production / Fabrication.
- Hands-on knowledge of Laser Cutting, TPP, Bending, Welding, Fabrication, Powder Coating and Assembly.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and ISO 9001.
- Positive problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to lead and manage operators and technicians during shifts.
