Responsibilities

- Executing planned and unplanned electrical maintenance activities in adherence to safety protocols and regulations.

- Conducting routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and address potential issues proactively.

- Collaborating with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and strategies.

- Diagnosing electrical problems and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.

- Performing regular maintenance tasks such as wiring, testing, and component replacements.

- Ensuring compliance with electrical codes, standards, and procedures.

- Providing technical guidance and support to junior maintenance staff.

- Documenting maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status accurately.

- Participating in training programs to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in the Thermal & Power Plant industry

- B. Tech in Electrical Engineering

- Relevant certifications in electrical maintenance and safety protocols (preferred)
