Job Title: Service Engineer

Location: Surat, Mumbai, Bhavnagar

About the Role:

STPL is looking for experienced and customer-focused Service Engineers to join its Customer Support team. The role involves installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and after-sales support for Diamond Laser machines. The ideal candidate should possess robust technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach to ensure prompt and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install and commission Diamond Laser machines at customer locations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related machine issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown servicing to ensure maximum machine uptime.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
- Train customers on machine operation, safety practices, and routine maintenance.
- Prepare and maintain service reports, installation reports, and customer visit records.




- Coordinate with the technical and production teams to resolve complex issues.
- Ensure timely closure of service calls while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Follow company safety standards and service procedures.
- Travel extensively to customer locations whenever required.

Educational Qualification:

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer or Electronics Engineering Discipline.

Experience:

- Experience in machine installation, servicing, maintenance, or customer support.
- Experience in the diamond machinery industry will be preferred.

Required Technical Skills:

- Knowledge of Diamond Laser machines, including operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve machine faults efficiently.
- Computer proficiency (MS Office, email, and service reporting).
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical manuals.
