Motors operates some of Skoda India’s largest integrated facilities, with dedicated workshops for accidental repairs and paint jobs. In 2016, the company also became an authorized dealer for Tata Motors in Chennai. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based at the Skoda Cars Workshop in Guindy, Chennai.

Service

Advisors are responsible for welcoming customers, understanding vehicle concerns, preparing job cards, coordinating with technicians, explaining recommended services, and providing accurate cost and time estimates. They monitor repair progress, ensure quality of work, communicate updates, and manage vehicle delivery while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and adherence to manufacturer standards. Technicians are responsible for diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing routine maintenance,



carrying out repairs according to Skoda guidelines, and documenting all work performed.

Both Service

Advisors and Technicians collaborate closely with the workshop team to meet aftersales targets, maintain safety and cleanliness standards, and support continuous improvement in service processes.

Qualifications Strong customer-focused service mindset, with skills in Customer Service and Customer-focused Service.

Ability to drive high Customer Satisfaction through proactive follow-up, problem resolution, and professional conduct.

Effective Communication skills, including transparent verbal and written interaction with customers and team members.

Experience in Aftersales operations, including service scheduling, job card management, and coordination with parts and workshop teams.

Technical knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics (for Technician roles), preferably with exposure to Skoda or other passenger car brands.

Prior experience in a dealership workshop or service center is highly desirable for both Service Advisor and Technician roles.

Relevant automotive qualification or certification (ITI, Diploma, or equivalent) for Technician positions; graduation or diploma in any discipline for Service Advisors.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced workshop environment and follow safety and quality standards.
