Orbitwise is an education and study-abroad consulting company helping students with international university admissions, scholarships, test preparation, language training, and career guidance.

We are looking for a creative and fast-paced Video Editor who can turn ideas, raw footage, and educational content into engaging videos for social media, digital advertising, webinars, and the Orbitwise brand.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube videos and other social media content.
- Create high-converting Meta, Instagram, YouTube and other digital ad creatives.
- Edit educational videos, student testimonials, tutor videos, interviews, webinars and promotional content.
- Convert long-form footage into engaging short-form clips.
- Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, sound effects, B-roll and visual elements to improve engagement.
- Work with counsellors, tutors and the marketing team to shoot and produce content regularly.
- Assist with in-office video shoots, including basic camera, lighting and audio setup.
- Maintain consistency with Orbitwise’s branding across all video content.
- Understand current Instagram/Reels/YouTube trends, hooks and editing styles.
- Create multiple versions of ad creatives for A/B testing and performance marketing campaigns.
- Organise and maintain raw footage and completed video assets.
- Deliver content according to the company’s daily and weekly content calendar.

Skills Required
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve,



Final Cut Pro or equivalent professional editing software.
- Experience editing Reels, Shorts and performance marketing ads.
- Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, hooks and audience retention.
- Ability to create professional subtitles, animations and motion graphics.
- Basic knowledge of camera operation, lighting and audio recording.
- Understanding of social-media formats including 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 and 16:9.
- Ability to work quickly without compromising quality.
- Strong creative sense and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with AI-powered video and content creation tools will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate
- 1–3 years of relevant video-editing experience preferred.
- Experience with education, edtech, digital marketing, D2C or social-media brands is an advantage.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, content-driven environment.
- Must be comfortable working onsite from our Gurugram office.
- Candidates should have a portfolio/showreel of previous work.
