Role Description This is a full-time, on-site as well as office role based in the Pune Division for a Senior Technical Services Engineer – Diesel Engine. The role involves providing advanced technical services and support for diesel engines across multiple applications, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. The engineer will analyze engine issues, develop corrective action plans, and coordinate with internal teams and customers to implement solutions efficiently.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting root cause analysis, preparing technical reports,



supporting installation and commissioning, and advising customers on best practices for operation and maintenance. The role also includes training customer teams, collaborating with product engineering on design and improvement feedback, and ensuring compliance with company standards, safety guidelines, and industry regulations. Qualifications

Robust Technical Services and Technical Support skills, with experience in diesel engine systems and related components.

Proficient Analytical Skills and Troubleshooting abilities for diagnosing complex engine and application-level issues.

Effective Communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to customers, technicians, and internal stakeholders.

Hands-on experience with engine testing, calibration, and performance evaluation in industrial or automotive settings.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced certifications in diesel engines are an advantage.

Experience in heavy engineering or engine-focused roles within sectors such as automotive, marine, power generation, or construction equipment.

Familiarity with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance processes for engine applications.

Ability to work on-site in the Pune Division, manage multiple projects, and provide field support as needed.
