Role Description

We're looking for a modern-age Technical Program Manager to own the execution layer of our procurement and vendor operations. This is not a roadmap-and-strategy product role — it's a role for someone who makes delivery happen: driving the team's day-to-day rhythm, keeping vendor commitments on track, and unblocking work before it stalls. You'll be the person who always knows the true status of every commitment, surfaces risk early, and turns “we should probably tell them” into a message that's already sent.

But we mean modern-age seriously. When you flag that something in a process or system is off, we don't want a paragraph buried in a thread — we want you to use AI tools to paint the picture that doesn't exist yet. Take the raw data, turn it into a chart, a dashboard, a one-glance visual, and make the message loud and clear. This role is for someone who goes beyond the brief, not someone who waits for one.

The technical requirement here is basic. You won't be writing production code or debugging systems in depth — but you should be willing to learn enough to triage a support escalation, glance at a failing request, or check a basic config before it reaches an engineer's plate. We'll hone the rest.

What You will Own

Run the team's delivery rhythm. Host scrum ceremonies (standups, planning, retros), keep the board honest, and make sure the team is always working on what matters most.

• Prioritize and defend scope . Decide what's picked up now versus later, and push back — with evidence — on work that can wait. Sound prioritization here depends on staying in active contact with

Support, Customer Success, Business,



and other PMs to understand real-world impact.

• Own vendor programs . Drive meetings and communications with procurement vendors and external partners: set the agenda, keep them focused, capture what was agreed, and ensure it actually gets implemented and handed over on time.

• Guard the deliverables . Track promised deliverables against reality. When something is on track,

keep it quiet and moving. When it's slipping, raise it early and communicate proactively — internally and to vendors.

• Make the invisible visible . When you spot something off in a process, system, or vendor's performance, don't just describe it — show it. Use AI tools to turn raw, scattered data into a clear visual, dashboard, or model that makes the problem (and the case for fixing it) impossible to miss.

• Surface and solve pain . Identify recurring friction and operational pain across the team and its stakeholders, bring it to the Team Lead, and work jointly toward the right solution rather than just filing a ticket.

• Filter the support funnel . Triage inbound support and operational asks. Do the basic first-level checks, then resolve or correctly route issues so engineers only see what genuinely needs them.

• Cross-cultural fluency . Our partners and teammates span the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand,

France, the UK, Belgium, Germany, and India — and our European footprint is still growing. You communicate clearly and work smoothly across time zones and cultures without friction.





• Deep ownership — nothing gets handed to you. You treat every commitment as yours until it's shipped. Nobody will spec your work, build your tools, or hand you a process to follow — you're expected to define your own and take the problem the rest of the way. You chase status, you escalate before it's a fire, and you don't let things fall through the cracks. “I didn't know it was blocked” is not a phrase you use.

• AI-native by default . You reach for AI tooling as a first instinct — to draft comms, summarize threads,

triage tickets, and, above all, to build things that don't exist yet: visuals, dashboards, and models that make a problem land. You build your own workflows and go beyond the brief; you don't wait for tools to be handed to you.

• Tooling and process discipline . You're strong with Excel — tracking, filtering, pivoting, and turning a messy status into a clear picture. You know Jira well and keep a board honest. You've worked in scrum-based Agile teams and understand the ceremonies in practice, not just theory.

• Willing to learn the basics . Only a very basic level of technical comfort is required up front — enough to read a simple log or request and know when something is genuinely an engineering problem versus something you can resolve or route yourself. We'll hone the rest.

Strong signals

• Prior experience as a TPM, Program Manager, Delivery Manager, Product Owner, or an engineer/support lead who moved into coordination.

- Experience managing procurement, vendor, or external partner relationships.
- Comfort with Slack and monitoring/status dashboards.
- Background in healthcare, B2B SaaS, or another regulated / reliability-critical domain.

What This Role Is Not To set clear expectations: this is a delivery- and execution-focused role, not a product strategy role. You will strongly influence what gets prioritized and surface the problems worth solving — but product direction is set jointly with the Team Lead. If your ambition is to own product vision and roadmap end to end, this specific role isn't that (though there's room to grow toward more product ownership over time for the right person).
