The Challenge

- Develop strategic methods to improve technical stability and efficiency of products/services

- Lead and influence multiple teams and initiatives

Your Mission

- Deep understanding of the entire system; able to jump into any component and troubleshoot

- Make decisions on product direction based on strong subject matter expertise

- Own large components and set product direction

- Think strategically and tactically aligned with technical and business goals

- Define long-term roadmap across multiple product versions

- Support initiatives beyond primary responsibility

- Provide technical leadership to teams (3 4 individuals)

- Build strong cross-functional relationships

- Drive decisions considering multiple viewpoints

- Mentor engineers with high-level guidance

- Improve overall technical capability of the organization

- Focus on customer-first solutions and short-term strategic goals

- Solve open-ended and complex problems

Key Responsibilities

- Design, code, and debug software

- Improve performance of existing software

- Maintain and upgrade systems

- Train and mentor other engineers

- Recommend new technologies to improve productivity





- Oversee technical aspects of projects

- Investigate and resolve software issues

- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions

- Collaborate with testing teams on performance test plans

- Support product specifications and requirements development

You Are

- Robust technical expertise and problem-solving skills

- Excellent documentation and analytical skills

- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science / Engineering (or related field)

- 13 years of experience in:

- Java development

- RESTful APIs

- Spring Boot

- Microservices

- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Proven experience in:

- Software development methodologies

- High-level programming (Java)

- Building complex web systems

- Strong leadership capabilities

Extra Awesome

- Master s degree (Technical or Business field)

- Experience running web services at scale
