We're hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer (Presales) at Zenskar ?

If you'd rather open the product and build the thing than talk around it, this is your role.

You'll be the technical voice on our biggest deals, sitting across from CFOs, finance leaders, and engineering teams. You'll run discovery, build demos on real customer scenarios, design integrations, and own the technical win alongside the AE.

This is hands-on. You'll write SQL, poke at REST APIs, map data flows, and configure Zenskar to prove it works before the deal closes.

What you'll do

Run technical discovery with finance, RevOps, and engineering stakeholders. Understand their billing model, usage data, and rev rec requirements before anyone talks about features.

Partner with Sales on live demos, sandbox setups, and RFP responses, tied to the prospect's real scenario, not a generic tour.

Design the integration: map how usage flows from Postgres, Snowflake, or a warehouse into Zenskar, and flag idempotency and reconciliation risks early.

Own the technical win: qualify the deal, multi-thread to the CFO, and de-risk the build so nothing breaks post-sale.

Prepare business cases and RFP responses that tie capability to a dollar saved or a risk removed.

Feed structured patterns from discovery back to Product and Engineering.

What we're looking for





5+ years total experience, with meaningful time in a hands-on technical role: solutions/sales engineering, forward-deployed engineering, data engineering, or backend/integrations work.

Comfortable with real SQL (group by, window functions, date logic) and have built or debugged REST API integrations.

Vendor-side B2B SaaS experience, ideally billing, payments, fintech, ERP, or data-infrastructure adjacent.

Client-facing experience in a technical capacity: discovery, PoCs, demos, or implementation calls.

You can hold a credible conversation with a CFO and an engineer on the same day.

Willing to work US-overlap hours (roughly 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM IST, weekdays) to cover US afternoons.
