About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to help architect, build, and scale the next generation of our core platform. This role requires a strong engineering foundation, deep technical expertise, and the ability to make pragmatic architectural decisions in a fast-moving environment.

You will work across backend systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and application architecture, collaborating closely with product and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure software. As a senior member of the engineering team, you will also play a key role in establishing engineering best practices, mentoring developers, and driving technical excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & System Design

- Design and implement scalable, resilient, and maintainable software systems.
- Drive architectural decisions for backend services, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and design patterns based on business and technical requirements.
- Lead technical design reviews and create architecture documentation for critical systems.
- Ensure systems are built with scalability, fault tolerance, observability, and security as first-class concerns.

Software Development

- Build and maintain high-performance applications and services using modern engineering practices.
- Write clean, modular, testable, and production-grade code.
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, and distributed architectures.
- Implement robust CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment workflows.
- Participate in code reviews and promote engineering standards across the team.

Cloud & Infrastructure

- Design and manage cloud-native solutions using AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Work with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Improve infrastructure reliability through monitoring, logging,



alerting, and automation.
- Optimize system performance, resource utilization, and operational costs.

Technical Leadership

- Lead complex technical initiatives from concept to production deployment.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.
- Help define engineering processes, development workflows, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to align technical implementation with business objectives.
- Contribute to incident management, root-cause analysis processes.

Required Qualifications

- 5 years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
- Strong expertise in at least one modern backend language:
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience implementing automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
- Solid understanding of security best practices, authentication, authorization, and application monitoring.
- Proven ability to own projects through the complete software development lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in high-growth startups or product companies.
- Exposure to distributed systems, high-throughput platforms, or large-scale SaaS applications.
- Knowledge of messaging and streaming technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, or Pub/Sub.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Experience implementing observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry.
- Prior technical leadership or team mentoring experience.
- Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in engineering communities.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
