Role Description The Senior Software Engineer – Applied AI role is a full-time, remote position focused on designing, building, and deploying AI-driven solutions within complex, multi–cloud environments. This role involves developing production-grade machine learning models, integrating them into scalable services, and optimizing applications for performance, reliability, and security. The engineer will collaborate with product, data, and DevSecOps teams to translate business requirements into technical designs, implement APIs and data pipelines, and ensure robust monitoring and observability for AI workloads.

Daily responsibilities include writing high-quality, testable code, performing code reviews, mentoring other engineers,



and contributing to architecture decisions for AI and cloud-native systems. The role also includes researching emerging AI technologies, evaluating tools and frameworks, and helping define best practices for applied AI across the organization.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong software engineering skills, including proficiency in one or more up-to-date programming languages (such as Python, Java, or Go), experience with APIs and microservices, and solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.

Candidates should possess applied AI and machine learning skills, including experience building, training, and deploying models, familiarity with ML frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn), and knowledge of MLOps practices.

Candidates should possess cloud and infrastructure skills, including experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code tools (such as Terraform or CloudFormation).

Candidates should possess DevOps and reliability skills, including CI/CD pipeline implementation, monitoring and logging (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK), and a focus on scalability, performance tuning, and high-availability systems.

Candidates should possess secure development and data handling skills, including understanding of DevSecOps principles, secure coding practices, identity and access management, and data privacy and protection in enterprise environments.
