We are seeking an experienced SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant with 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PP. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in end-to-end SAP PP implementations, system enhancements, production planning processes, and integration with other SAP modules.

The candidate should be capable of working directly with business stakeholders to design, configure, and optimize SAP PP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support end-to-end SAP PP implementation projects, including requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PP functional solutions.

Configure SAP PP functionalities including:

Material Master

BOM (Bill of Materials)

Work Centers

Routings

Production Versions

MRP

Capacity Planning

Shop Floor Control





Work on enhancements, change requests, and continuous process improvements.

Perform gap analysis and provide functional design documents for custom developments.

Coordinate with ABAP developers for enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows.

Execute SIT, UAT, and production support activities.

Troubleshoot and resolve SAP PP production issues.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including MM, SD, QM, PM, and WM/EWM.

Prepare functional specifications, documentation, and provide end-user training.

Required Skills

10+ years of SAP PP functional consulting experience.

Strong experience in at least 2–3 end-to-end SAP PP implementation projects.

Hands-on experience in enhancement and support projects.

Strong knowledge of Production Planning and Manufacturing processes.

Experience in configuration and customization of SAP PP.

Expertise in MRP, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Production Orders, Capacity Planning, and Shop Floor Control.

Experience with functional specifications for custom developments.

Valuable understanding of SAP integration with MM, SD, QM, PM, and WM/EWM.

Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
