Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mid-Level QA Engineer to join our platform engineering team and support the delivery of high-quality, reliable software. In this role, you will focus on validating APIs and web portals through a combination of manual, automated. You will work under the guidance of senior QA and engineering leads while independently owning assigned test areas and deliverables.

This role is well suited for a QA professional with solid hands-on testing experience who is looking to deepen automation and performance testing skills in a collaborative Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Design Te stParticipate in requirements and design discussions to identify test scenarios, risks, and performance-related edge case s.Create, review, and execute test cases for APIs and web applications based on requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteri a.Contribute to test planning activities, including functional, regression, and performance testing consideration s.

Test Execut ionExecute manual, automated, and performance tests to validate application functionality, reliability, and scalabili ty.Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent user experien ce.Assist with test data preparation and validate test environments prior to executi on.

Test Automa tionDevelop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using tools such as Cypress, Selenium or Kar ate.Integrate automated and performance tests into CI/CD pipelines where applica ble.





Documentation & Repo rtingMaintain accurate test documentation, including functional, automation, and performance test res ults.Provide transparent, data-driven feedback on test outcomes, highlighting risks, trends, and recommendat ions.

Defect Mana gementIdentify, document, and track functional and performance-related defects using tools such as Azure DevOps or

Jira.Work with developers to reproduce issues, support root cause analysis, and verify fixes.

Collaboration & Agile Partic ipationCollaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure quality and performance expectations a re met.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospe ctives.Contribute to quality metrics such as defect leakage, test coverage, automation stability, and performance trends.

Qualifi cations

EducationBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical ex perience.

ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance or softwar e testing.Hands-on experience testing web applications and APIs.Experience using test case management and defect track ing tools.

Techn ical SkillsSolid understanding of QA methodologies and testing best practices.Experience with API testing tools and techniques.Hands-on or growing experience with mobile testing tools (e.g., P laywright).Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines an d concepts.Experience or familiarity with OAuth2 authentica tion flows.
