Role Description The Senior Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for leading the engineering aspects of complex industrial projects, including detailed project planning, technical design reviews, and coordination with cross-functional teams such as R&D;, manufacturing, and quality.

The Senior Project

Engineer oversees project execution from concept to commissioning, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, safety standards, budgets, and timelines.



Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing engineering documentation, managing vendor and client technical interactions, supporting installation and testing activities, and resolving technical issues in the field. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting the integration of advanced automation, communication, and IIoT solutions into client systems.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills relevant to industrial automation, measurement, and control systems.

Candidates should possess solid Project Management and Project Planning skills to lead end-to-end project lifecycles, manage resources, budgets, and schedules.

Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear technical documentation and stakeholder coordination across clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Candidates should ideally have experience with industrial automation, instrumentation, IIoT, and hazardous area systems, along with familiarity with relevant standards and certifications.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, with several years of experience in senior or lead project engineering roles.

Proven ability to work on-site in industrial environments, strong problem-solving skills, and a track record of delivering complex projects safely and on time.

Experience with ISO 9001 environments, SAP or similar ERP tools, and collaboration with global technology partners is an advantage.
