The initiative aims to reduce health risks by providing safer, more hygienic sanitation options for communities.

Role Description

As a Senior Product Designer (UI/UX/Figma/SaaS), you will guide the end-to-end design vision for digital products. This volunteer, remote role involves leading UI/UX strategy, translating goals into intuitive user flows, and creating high-fidelity prototypes using Figma and other design tools. You will collaborate with product, technology, and field teams to understand user needs, define requirements, and ensure accessible, inclusive interfaces for diverse communities.

Day-to-day responsibilities include mentoring junior designers, setting design standards and guidelines, conducting usability reviews, and iterating on designs based on feedback and data. You will help shape design processes that align with the organization’s mission and contribute to scalable SaaS-style solutions.





Qualifications

- Strong UI and visual design skills, including creating design systems, layouts, and components in Figma.
- Proven experience in UX design, including user research, information architecture, user flows, and wireframing for web and mobile products.
- Background in leading design for digital products or SaaS platforms, with the ability to translate complex needs into simple interfaces.
- Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring or guiding other designers or contributors.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, volunteer-based setting with limited resources and high autonomy.
- Familiarity with accessibility best practices and inclusive design for diverse user groups and low-resource settings.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to explain design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Prior experience in Fashion projects or social projects.
- Relevant education in design, HCI, product design, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 to 18 years of of relevant experience.
- This is an unpaid part time work from home opportunity.
