We are seeking a talented individual to join our Career team at Mercer. This role will be based in Noida. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office Senior Manager - Metrics, Analytics & Reporting (E)

This role sits within the Career Delivery Service Management team at Mercer. The person will own the creation of high-impact PowerPoint presentations for leadership readouts, governance forums, business reviews and stakeholder-facing meetings.

Working shoulder-to-shoulder with leaders, the role translates complex, multi-dimensional business information — operational performance, strategy, financials, risks and opportunities — into clear, compelling and visually polished narratives that drive understanding and decision-making. Success is measured not by volume of slides produced, but by the clarity of the story told and the quality of the decisions it enables.

We will count on you to

1.

Content

Strategy & Narrative Design

Frame the story: Partner with leaders to define the core message, audience and objective of each deck before a single slide is built.

Architect the narrative: Structure dense, ambiguous inputs into a logical, persuasive flow with a clear thread from situation to insight to recommendation.

Sharpen the message: Distil performance data, strategy and operational detail into sharp, executive-ready messaging that lands in seconds, not minutes.

- Storytelling & Business Translation

Translate complexity: Convert complex business information into intuitive, story-led narratives that non-specialist audiences grasp immediately.

Show, don't tell: Choose the right visual device — charts, frameworks, journeys, scorecards — to make each point evident at a glance.

Calibrate to audience: Tailor tone, depth and emphasis to the audience, from operational teams to executive committee and client leadership.

3.

Visual

Communication & Design Craft

Design with intent: Produce polished, on-brand, presentation-grade decks with solid typography, layout, hierarchy and data visualisation.

Raise the standard: Build and maintain reusable slide templates, visual standards and a component library to lift the consistency and quality of output.

Deliver under pressure: Manage version control and iterate quickly through multiple review cycles while protecting quality under tight timelines.

4.

Stakeholder

Partnership

Be a thought partner: Act as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders, challenging and refining their thinking, not just formatting their slides.

Drive the process: Run efficient working sessions to extract content, align on message and secure sign-off with minimal rework.

Earn context: Build a deep understanding of the career business so the narrative is credible, accurate and commercially intelligent.

.

Project

Coordination & Delivery Management

Plan and prioritise: Manage multiple concurrent presentation workstreams, setting clear milestones, sequencing dependencies and ensuring every deliverable lands on time.

Track and communicate progress: Maintain visibility of open requests,

review cycles and approval status across stakeholders; proactively flag risks to timelines and resolve blockers before they escalate.

Coordinate cross-functional inputs: Liaise with subject-matter experts, data teams and business partners to gather, validate and integrate inputs efficiently — keeping the process on schedule without acting as a gatekeeper.

Embed a delivery rhythm: Establish lightweight workflows, intake processes and quality checkpoints that bring predictability and rigour to a high-volume, deadline-driven output environment.

Skills & Competencies

Content strategy: Demonstrated mastery of content strategy — the ability to decide what to say, in what order, and what to leave out.

Storytelling: Exceptional storytelling instinct, turning data and detail into a narrative with a clear arc and takeaway.

Visual communication: Advanced PowerPoint skills with a solid eye for layout, typography, colour, hierarchy and data visualization.

Business acumen: Comfortable interpreting operational, financial and strategic information and translating it for a senior audience.

Executive presence: Confident working directly with senior leaders; influences, pushes back constructively and earns trust quickly.

Ownership: Self-directed, organised and calm under pressure, juggling several high-stakes decks against competing deadlines.

Attention to detail: Meticulous about accuracy, consistency and finish — nothing leaves the desk unless it is leadership-ready.

Delivery management: Able to plan and manage multiple concurrent workstreams — tracking milestones, coordinating inputs from diverse stakeholders and keeping quality output on schedule without requiring formal project management oversight.

What you need to have: Knowledge & Skills

Minimum 10-12 years of experience in a professional organization, with significant exposure to executive communication and presentation creation.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint — including master slides, custom layouts, animations, and data visualization.

Demonstrated ability to create leadership-ready content with a high degree of communication maturity and business language precision.

Strong understanding of storytelling frameworks and how to structure a narrative for senior audiences.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills — ability to distil complex ideas into clear, concise executive language.

Proven stakeholder management skills — comfortable engaging with senior leaders and navigating competing priorities.

High attention to detail with a strong sense of visual design, layout, and brand consistency.

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority deliverables simultaneously.

Practical experience coordinating cross-functional workstreams — managing intake, sequencing tasks,

tracking progress and maintaining clear communication with contributors — without requiring formal project management certification or a dedicated PM support structure.

Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision.

Any graduate; additional qualification in Communications or Design will be an added advantage.

What makes you stand out?

Proven experience creating executive leadership presentations in a global corporate environment.

Strong business acumen — ability to anticipate what leadership needs to see before being asked.

Experience working as a communication partner or embedded presentation specialist to a senior leadership team.

Familiarity with data tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI) and the ability to translate outputs into polished slide visuals.

Background in change management communications or strategic communications is a plus.

Demonstrated ability to give and receive feedback constructively and iterate rapidly under tight timelines.

Flexibility to work across time zones and manage urgent requests in a fast-paced global environment.

Passion for communication excellence and continuous improvement in how ideas are expressed and presented.
