Role Description The Senior Manager Accounts and Finance is a full time, on-site role based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. This role oversees the company’s financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, financial planning, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising the finance team, managing accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flow, preparing financial statements and management reports, and coordinating with auditors and banks.

The position also involves implementing financial controls, supporting strategic decision-making with data-driven insights, optimizing costs, and ensuring timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual books of accounts.

Manager works closely with senior leadership to align financial strategies with business goals and support sustained growth.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.

Hands-on experience with accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation.

Sound knowledge of taxation, compliance, and regulatory requirements relevant to corporate finance and the travel industry.

Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting, with the ability to prepare and interpret management reports and financial statements.

Experience leading and mentoring finance and accounts teams, with strong people management and delegation skills.

Advanced skills in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting/ERP software; comfort working with data and financial dashboards.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or CPA are an advantage.

Prior experience in a similar senior finance role, preferably within travel, hospitality, or a related service industry.

Strong attention to detail, integrity, and a track record of maintaining high standards in financial accuracy and controls.
