Responsibilities

- Own the Architecture: Architect, build, and maintain modular, scalable mobile systems using Clean Architecture paired with strict BLoC/Cubit state management patterns.

- Optimise for 60/120 FPS: Ruthlessly profile the Flutter rendering pipeline using Dart DevTools to eliminate layout jank, drop frame rates, and optimise performance for infinite-scrolling media feeds.
- Engine Video Logistics: Work deeply with low-latency video streaming assets, implementing intelligent background pre-fetching, multi-threaded asset caching (via Dart Isolates), and custom media player controller overrides.
- Streamline Deployments: Own the full multi-platform deployment lifecycle across the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, managing production pipelines via CI/CD and utilising over-the-air (OTA) hotfix delivery tools like Shorebird.

Requirements

- 3+ years of professional experience shipping production-grade applications using Dart and Flutter.
- Deep structural expertise in Clean Architecture and BLoC state management, you treat these as defaults, not afterthoughts.
- Proven track record of publishing and maintaining at least two active Flutter applications on both the App Store and Google Play Console.
- Obsession with UI/UX Performance: Fluent in using profiling tools to optimise frame-rendering cycles, and familiar with advanced layout constraints like Slivers and RepaintBoundary.
- An Ownership Mindset: You don't need a project manager to tell you how to handle network failures, low-connectivity edge cases, or race conditions. You write self-documenting, clean, and testable code. Good-to-Haves:




- Direct engineering experience in high-interaction B2C consumer startups (e. g., short-form video, streaming media, live gaming, or interactive entertainment apps).
- Familiarity with transactional domain complexities, such as synchronisation structures, in-app billing engines, and local key-value caching (Hive/SQLite/Isar).
- Proficient with declarative routing frameworks like Navigator 2.0 / go_router connected directly to dynamic push notification payloads and deep-linking matrices.
- Active open-source footprint, custom Flutter package contributions, or familiarity with AI-assisted engineering workflows (Cursor, Claude Code).
