Role Description The Team Lead role at Shadowfax is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram.

The Team

Lead will oversee day-to-day operations for a designated team, including planning shifts, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance metrics to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, resolving on-ground issues, and maintaining high standards of process compliance and customer service.

Lead will be responsible for coaching and mentoring team members, conducting regular reviews, and driving continuous improvement in productivity, safety, and quality.



The position also requires preparing operational reports, supporting implementation of recent initiatives, and ensuring adherence to company policies and operational guidelines.

Qualifications

Strong people leadership and team management skills, including the ability to motivate, mentor, and manage performance in a fast-paced operational environment.

Experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, with familiarity in delivery workflows, routing, and service-level monitoring.

Data-driven approach, with proficiency in basic analytics, reporting, and use of productivity tools (e.g., Excel, dashboards, or similar platforms).

Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with internal teams, partners, and frontline workforce.

Demonstrated problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution capabilities under time-sensitive conditions.

Ability to work on-site in Gurugram with flexibility for shifts or extended hours as required by operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field; relevant experience in team-leading roles within logistics or e-commerce is preferred.

Knowledge of technology-enabled logistics platforms and comfort with mobile and web-based operational tools is an advantage.
