Summary

Management of the Bangalore Molecular Imaging (MI) multidisciplinary engineering organization. The team will assume end-to-end ownership of the PET/CT IB, working in close partnership with key stakeholders across Haifa Engineering, Product Management, Regional teams, Service, Supply Chain, and customers to ensure operational excellence, product quality, and business continuity. This role leads initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the Engineering function and drives strong cross-functional alignment through the development and management of key metrics, dashboards, operational processes, and strategic initiatives.

The position owns and influences budgets, operating plans, and execution priorities while ensuring alignment with business objectives and organizational goals. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the role works across multiple functions and geographies to deliver results within established operating policies. It requires strong business acumen, leadership, and sound judgment to balance competing priorities, drive operational performance, and achieve business outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

The PET/CT IB Leader in India will be responsible for leading the PET/CT IB organization, with end-to-end accountability for operations that directly impact products, including Omni, DMI, DIQ, and Legacy PET systems.

The role is critical to ensuring production continuity, service excellence, product quality, customer satisfaction, patient safety, and sustained business performance.





This position requires broad multidisciplinary engineering leadership across software development, systems engineering, and IB operations.

The leader will oversee and integrate activities across these domains, enabling sound technical decision-making, effective cross-functional collaboration, and successful execution of both product and customer-focused initiatives.

Operating within defined budgets and resource constraints, the leader will balance competing priorities and make data-driven decisions to maximize business outcomes.

Responsibilities include prioritizing activities based on business needs, customer impact, product commitments, quality objectives, and strategic goals while ensuring efficient execution and optimal resource utilization.

The role is accountable for driving rapid issue resolution, operational excellence, quality and safety compliance, and risk mitigation.

Success requires strong alignment across Engineering, Service, Manufacturing, Product Management, Quality, and Regulatory functions to protect both customer operations and business results.

The leader will manage an organization of approximately 40 employees, including direct reports and first-line managers (including SPB3 leaders).

In addition, the role requires leading multiple cross-functional teams composed of diverse technical disciplines and expertise.

The ability to align stakeholders, drive collaboration, influence without direct authority, and execute through others is essential.

Educational Qualifications





Bachelor's degree in engineering (Software Engineering preferred) or Master' s degree or additional advanced degree in Engineering, Technology, or Business.

Minimum of 12+ years of engineering management experience, preferably within software development organizations.

Required Qualifications

Strong knowledge of engineering processes, including software development lifecycle, systems engineering practices, and product development methodologies.

Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and driving cross-functional execution.

Hands-on software engineering background with robust technical depth.

Experience managing IB operations, product quality, customer support, or service engineering activities.

Proven ability to lead large organizations and complex programs in a regulated industry environment.
