Role Description: The Senior Art Director is a full-time, remote role, responsible for leading visual direction across branding, graphic design, and digital experiences. This role oversees concept development, design execution, and quality control for a range of projects, ensuring cohesive and impactful visual narratives for client brands. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with strategy and technology teams, guiding designers, executing various design tasks, and presenting concepts and rationale to clients and the internal team.

Director will develop and maintain design systems, ensure consistency across touchpoints, and elevate craft and strategic thinking. The role also involves staying current with design trends, tools,



and best practices to continuously refine SSVC’s visual standards and methodologies. Qualifications

Candidates should possess robust Creative Direction and Art Direction skills, with a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams and shape cohesive visual narratives.

Candidates should possess expertise in Branding and brand systems, including creating and evolving visual identities, brand guidelines, and cross-channel design frameworks.

Candidates should possess solid capabilities in Graphic Design and Graphics production, including typography, layout, color, and visual asset development for digital and print media.

Candidates should possess proficiency with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma or similar) and workflows for collaborative, iterative design.

Candidates should possess strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to clients and cross-functional teams.

Candidates should possess experience mentoring designers, managing timelines and priorities, and delivering high-quality work under pressure.

Candidates should possess a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end brand and campaign work;

experience in creative consultancies or design-technology studios is highly beneficial.

Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
