Role Description The Senior Architect role at SMARTANK is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for designing and overseeing complex architectural solutions that support business consulting platforms, internal tools, and client-facing systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining system architecture, leading integration efforts across multiple technologies, collaborating with software development teams, and ensuring alignment with business strategy and performance goals.

The Senior

Architect will work closely with project managers, consultants,



and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, manage technical risks, and guide implementation best practices. The role also involves reviewing technical documentation, mentoring team members, and maintaining architecture standards and governance.

Qualifications Strong expertise in Architecture and Architectural Design, with a track record of designing scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.

Hands-on experience in Software Development, including working with modern frameworks, APIs, and cloud-based platforms.

Proficiency in Integration, with the ability to connect diverse systems, data sources, and third-party tools into cohesive solutions.

Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, prioritization, stakeholder communication, and delivery oversight.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience in consulting, enterprise solutions, or HR/Business tech environments is an advantage.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation abilities, with explicit and inclusive communication skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, provide technical leadership, and mentor less experienced professionals.
