The Role & Your Impact

As a Senior AE, you will move beyond individual feature development to full system ownership and technical leadership. You will take accountability for the architecture, health, and evolution of critical production systems — ensuring high performance, reliability, and an exceptional experience for our customers.

What You Will Do

● Development & Delivery: Implement, deliver, own, and evolve primary customer-facing web applications and internal tooling.

● Technical Architecture: Author comprehensive technical design documents (TDDs) for complex, multi-component systems and actively contribute to broader architecture discussions.

● Production Excellence: Drive root-cause analysis and resolution for complex production issues, anticipating failure scenarios and reliability risks before they impact users.

● Quality & Performance: Optimize application speed, user experience, and overall system maintainability while proactively reducing technical debt.

● Mentorship & Best Practices: Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, architectural guidance, and pair debugging,



ensuring engineering best practices are upheld.

● Innovation: Continuously research and evaluate contemporary web frameworks, AI tools, and methodologies to upgrade Motorq's engineering practices.

● Data-Connected Chatbots & Agents: Build, integrate, and own conversational chatbots and autonomous AI agents that run on top of Motorq's data.

What You Will

Need

● Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 3–4 years of professional software engineering experience.

● Tech Stack Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, specifically React on the frontend and Node.js / Express on the backend.

● AI Product & Agent Integration: Proven ability to build, integrate, and deploy contextual chatbots and AI agents directly into the products, enabling users to query, analyze, and act on platform data through conversational and autonomous interfaces.

● AI-Augmented Engineering: Active and effective use of modern AI developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or custom LLM workflows) to accelerate code generation, debugging, design, and overall product development velocity.

● Database & Data Layer: Hands-on experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL and exposure to high-performance databases like ClickHouse.

● Core Fundamentals: Deep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, system design, and software design patterns).

● Ownership Mindset: Highly self-driven with a track record of on-time, high-quality execution and end-to-end accountability for production systems.

● Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a passion for working in collaborative, cross-functional teams. Tech Stack
