Role Description The Senior Accountant at Floatantide Commodities is a full-time, on-site role based in Bandra. This role is responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting operations, including managing general ledgers, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accuracy in accounts payable and receivable.

The Senior

Accountant will review and reconcile accounts, monitor cash flow, and support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis for road development projects. The role includes ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, coordinating with auditors,



and improving internal controls and financial processes.

Accountant will work closely with leadership and project teams to provide financial insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial reporting for projects or operations.
- Familiarity with tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit processes.
- Proficiency with accounting software and advanced skills in spreadsheets and financial analysis tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; skilled certification (CA, CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Prior experience in infrastructure, construction, or project-based industries is preferred.
