Job Title :SAP Business Analyst Finance Experience: 7+ Years Locations: Chennai / Pune / Hyderabad / Bengaluru Work Model: Hybrid Employment Type: Contract Job Summary We are looking for an experienced SAP Business Analyst Finance with 7+ years of experience in SAP Finance and business analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of SAP FI modules, financial business processes, requirements gathering, functional documentation, testing, integration, and production support.

Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Finance and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Translate business requirements into functional specifications, BRDs, and process flows. Support SAP FI modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.

Analyze

As-Is and To-Be financial processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Work with SAP, Data Warehouse, and technical teams on ETL mappings, source-to-target mappings, and reporting requirements. Coordinate integrations between SAP FI/CO, MM, SD, and third-party applications. Analyze and resolve data, interface, and integration issues.

Support Functional

Testing, SIT, UAT, and production validation. Provide functional support for SAP Finance and Data Warehouse-related production issues.



Prepare and maintain BRDs, Functional Specifications, process flows, user guides, and training materials. Support change management, user training, production deployments, and continuous improvement initiatives. Communicate effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional technical teams.

Required Skills 7+ years of experience as a SAP Business Analyst / SAP Functional Analyst. Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP FI / FICO. Valuable understanding of GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting.

Experience in business requirements gathering and functional documentation. Strong understanding of As-Is / To-Be process mapping.

Experience with SIT, UAT, functional testing, and production support. Exposure to Data Warehouse, ETL, source-to-target mapping, and reporting solutions. Knowledge of SAP integration with FI, CO, MM, and SD. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and hybrid environment.

Preferred Skills Experience working with third-party application integrations. Knowledge of financial data flows between SAP and Data Warehouse platforms.

Experience in process improvement and automation initiatives. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
