Role Description The SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining SAP ABAP solutions that support business processes and enhance system performance. Day-to-day activities include creating and optimizing reports and interfaces, implementing user exits, developing and consuming BAPIs and IDocs, and applying object-oriented programming principles within SAP environments. The consultant will collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, troubleshoot and resolve issues,



and ensure adherence to SAP and Webtel development standards.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Connaught Place, involving close coordination with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions and support ongoing SAP projects.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP development, including ALV Reports for advanced reporting and data presentation.

Experience with SAP enhancement techniques such as User Exits to extend and customize standard SAP functionality.

Hands-on expertise in integration-related development using BAPI and IDoc for data exchange and system interoperability.

Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts as applied to modern SAP ABAP development.

Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience working on SAP implementation, migration, or support projects, preferably in complex enterprise environments.

Ability to analyze business requirements, prepare technical specifications, and deliver clean, well-documented code.

Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams on-site.

Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present technical solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

SAP certifications or prior experience with SAP Partner organizations are an advantage.
