Job Summary The Sales & Operations Engineer is responsible for generating AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) business, managing customer relationships, planning preventive maintenance, coordinating service teams, and ensuring timely execution of fire protection system maintenance in compliance with applicable standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Sales

-Generate current Fire AMC business from commercial, industrial, residential, hospital, hotel, educational, and IT clients.

- Identify prospects through field visits, referrals, and cold calling.- Conduct site surveys and assess fire protection systems.
- Prepare AMC proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.- Negotiate contracts and close sales.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers for contract renewals and upselling.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

Operations

- Plan preventive maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate technicians for daily service activities.
- Ensure timely completion of AMC visits.
- Attend emergency breakdowns when required.
- Verify service reports before submission to customers.
- Coordinate with vendors for spare parts and consumables.
- Monitor pending jobs and ensure timely closure.

Technical

- Understand and inspect:
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Fire Hydrant Systems
- Sprinkler Systems
- Fire Pumps
- Portable Fire Extinguishers
- Gas Suppression Systems
- Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure maintenance follows relevant Indian Standards and customer requirements.

Customer Management

- Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution.
- Conduct review meetings with clients.




- Maintain high customer satisfaction and retention.

Documentation

- Prepare quotations and AMC agreements.
- Maintain maintenance schedules.
- Submit service reports.
- Prepare inspection reports.
- Track renewals and payment follow-up.
- Update CRM and customer records.

Qualifications

- Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Fire Protection Systems, Fire AMC, Fire Projects, or Fire Safety Services.
- Fresh candidates with strong technical aptitude may also be considered.

Skills Required

- Knowledge of fire protection systems.

- Ability to prepare technical and commercial proposals.

- Basic proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email.
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence preferred.
