Role Description The Sales Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in the Pune Division, responsible for combining technical knowledge with sales skills to support customers and drive business growth. Day-to-day tasks include identifying customer needs, presenting appropriate electronic products and solutions, preparing quotations, and providing technical demonstrations or product explanations. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to customize solutions, following up on leads, managing opportunities, and ensuring timely order closure.

The Sales

Engineer will maintain strong relationships with existing clients, support after-sales queries, and contribute to market research, competitive analysis,



and continuous improvement of the sales process. Regular on-site visits to customer locations and participation in meetings or reviews will be required.

Qualifications

Strong technical aptitude in electronics or related engineering disciplines, with the ability to understand product specifications and applications.

Demonstrated sales, business development, or customer-facing experience, preferably in industrial or electronics sectors.

Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, accessible language.

Ability to work on-site in the Pune Division, manage field visits, and build long-term customer relationships.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills to assess customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.

Proficiency in basic office and productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations); familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage.

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.

Prior experience in a Sales Engineer or technical sales role is beneficial; knowledge of the local Pune market is a plus.
