Role Description The Sales Employee role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cannanore. In this role, the team member will greet and assist customers in the showroom, understand their requirements, and recommend suitable audio, security, and home appliance solutions. Daily tasks include explaining product features and pricing, preparing quotations, processing orders and invoices, and coordinating with the service team for installations and after-sales support.

The role also involves maintaining product displays, updating customer records, following up on leads, and supporting basic inventory checks to ensure product availability.

Qualifications

Ability to understand customer needs, recommend appropriate products, and support the full sales cycle from inquiry to purchase.

Solid communication and interpersonal skills to engage with walk-in customers, handle inquiries, and build long-term relationships.

Basic knowledge of audio systems, public address equipment, security products, or home appliances, with willingness to learn technical details.

Comfort with using point-of-sale systems, maintaining simple records, and handling cash or digital payments accurately.

Customer-focused mindset, problem-solving attitude, and the ability to work in a busy retail/ showroom environment.

Prior experience in sales, retail, or customer service is preferred but not strictly required; training can be provided.

Minimum high school education; additional vocational or technical qualifications in electronics or related fields are an advantage.

Willingness to work full-time on-site in Cannanore, including weekends or extended hours as needed based on business requirements.
