Role Description The Safety Supervisor is a full time, on-site role based in Vishakhapatnam, responsible for overseeing and enforcing safety standards on construction sites. This role includes conducting regular site inspections, identifying hazards, and ensuring compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.

The Safety

Supervisor will organize and deliver safety training, maintain safety-related documentation, and investigate incidents or near-misses to recommend corrective actions. Daily responsibilities also include coordinating with project managers and site teams, promoting safe work practices,



and supporting continuous improvement of safety procedures and culture.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety and Occupational Health knowledge relevant to construction environments.

- Candidates should possess practical Safety Engineering skills for assessing risks and implementing safety controls.

- Candidates should possess experience in Safety Training, including conducting toolbox talks and formal safety sessions.

- Candidates should possess Accident Investigation skills, including incident reporting, root-cause analysis, and corrective action planning.

- Relevant diploma or degree in safety, engineering, or a related field, along with recognized safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred.

- Proven experience in construction site safety supervision, with robust knowledge of local regulations and standards.

- Effective communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence safe behavior at all levels.

- Ability to work in office in Vishakhapatnam, conduct field inspections, and respond promptly to safety concerns.
