We are building a robotics company focused on creating robots that can perform useful real-world physical tasks.

We are an experienced founding team with IIT alumni, and we are looking for our 3rd team member, a hands-on Robotics AI/ML Engineer who can help us build our first working POC and become a core member of the technical team.

Your primary focus will be on the intelligence layer of the robot : perception, learning, planning and control using AI/ML + ROS.

This is not a conventional engineering role. You will work directly with the founders, build from scratch, experiment rapidly and have significant ownership over how the robot learns and executes physical tasks.

Your first mission Help us build a working robotic POC that can see its environment, understand objects, control a robotic arm and learn to execute defined physical tasks reliably.

What you will work on

- ROS / ROS2 based robotic systems
- Computer vision and object detection
- Robotic arm manipulation and motion planning
- Camera + sensor perception
- AI/ML models for robotic task execution
- Teleoperation and demonstration data collection
- Imitation learning / learning from demonstrations
- Robot control and autonomous execution
- Integrating AI models with real robotic hardware





What we're looking for Strong hands-on experience with:
- Python
- ROS / ROS2
- Computer Vision / OpenCV
- AI/ML
- Robotic arms or manipulation
- Hardware-software integration

Experience with some of the following would be a strong plus:
- PyTorch
- MoveIt / MoveIt 2
- NVIDIA Jetson
- Depth cameras / RealSense
- Reinforcement Learning
- Imitation Learning
- Vision-Language-Action models
- Robotic foundation models

You don't need to be an expert in everything.

We are primarily looking for someone who understands AI/ML + ROS and can make algorithms work on an actual robot, not just in simulation.
