Role Description The Reddit Growth & Community Specialist is a remote, contract role focused on expanding PANHA’s presence and impact across Reddit. This role involves identifying relevant subreddits, engaging authentically in discussions, and sharing PANHA’s resources in ways that respect community guidelines and maintain trust.



The specialist will design and execute growth experiments, track performance metrics, and iterate on strategies to increase awareness, traffic, and meaningful engagement.

Day-to-day tasks include crafting posts and comments, managing AMAs or community events, coordinating with internal teams to align messaging, and monitoring conversations to understand user needs and sentiment. The role also includes building relationships with moderators and community members, flagging risks or sensitive issues, and ensuring that PANHA’s online presence remains empathetic, safe, and aligned with its mental health mission.

Qualifications

Strong Analytical Skills to track Reddit performance, interpret data, and optimize growth and engagement strategies.

Excellent Communication abilities for writing clear, empathetic posts and comments, and engaging respectfully with diverse online communities.

Demonstrated experience in Growth Hacking and community growth, including experimentation with content formats, timing, and subreddit targeting.

Basic Sales and outreach skills to ethically promote PANHA’s services, build partnerships with communities, and encourage sign-ups or sessions.

Solid Project Management capabilities to plan campaigns, prioritize tasks, coordinate with internal teams, and deliver results on schedule.

Hands-on experience with Reddit (moderation or community management experience is a plus) and familiarity with platform rules and culture.

Genuine interest in mental health, peer support, and creating safe, inclusive online spaces; prior experience in social impact or non-profit work is beneficial.

Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple threads and initiatives, and maintain discretion and sensitivity in all interactions.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Psychology,
