Project Role : Quality Engineering Lead

Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The day also includes defining and implementing key performance metrics to monitor testing activities, managing test execution, and facilitating defect resolution to maintain the overall quality of software products.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.




- Lead the development and continuous improvement of testing frameworks and methodologies to enhance team efficiency and product quality.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of quality objectives with project goals.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Performance Testing Strategy.
- Good To Have Skills: Automated Testing, Micro Focus LoadRunner, Neotys NeoLoad, Gatling, K6 Extension, Client in-built tools.
- Robust knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques to evaluate system behavior under various load conditions.
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable testing strategies that align with business objectives.
- Ability to analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve application performance.
- Familiarity with integrating performance testing within continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

Additional Information

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Performance Testing Strategy.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
