QC/PROOF READER : JD

- Perform final proofreading and quality checks on edited and paginated documents before delivery.

- Review documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting, and consistency.

- Verify adherence to client specifications, editorial guidelines, and style manuals.

- Check page layout, fonts, spacing, headings, tables, figures, equations, and references for accuracy.

- Ensure all author/editor corrections have been incorporated correctly.

- Identify and report quality issues, inconsistencies, and production errors.

- Verify cross-references, citations, hyperlinks, numbering, and table of contents.

- Ensure documents are complete, error-free, and publication-ready.

- Collaborate with editors, paginators, and project managers to resolve quality-related queries.

- Ability to identify language, formatting, and production errors.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat/PDF review tools, and Microsoft Office.
