About the Role

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead with strong expertise in Data & AI testing for Azure-based data platforms within the BFSI domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience leading end-to-end testing activities across ETL pipelines, APIs, Power BI reports, and data validation while coordinating UAT and release activities.

Key Responsibilities

 Lead the QA function for Data & AI initiatives in Azure environments.

 Design, review, and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases.

 Validate ETL pipelines, data transformations, and data migration processes.

 Perform end-to-end data reconciliation and ensure data integrity across multiple systems.

 Conduct API testing for RESTful services using industry-standard tools.

 Validate Power BI dashboards and reports for data accuracy, calculations,

filters, and performance.

 Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.

 Manage defect lifecycle, including logging, tracking, prioritization, and resolution.

 Execute regression, integration, system, and release validation testing.

 Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI Developers, Business Analysts, and

Product Owners.

 Prepare QA reports, test metrics, and release sign-off documentation.

 Ensure adherence to QA best practices, testing standards, and compliance requirements within the BFSI domain.

 Azure SQL Database / Synapse Analytics exposure

 Azure DevOps or Jira for test management and defect tracking

 Version control and CI/CD validation experience is preferred

Domain Experience

 Mandatory experience in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services &

Insurance) domain.

 Understanding of banking data models, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and data governance is highly preferred.

Required Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

 5–8 years of experience in Software QA with solid experience in Data

Warehouse/ETL testing.

 Proven experience leading QA activities for enterprise data projects.  Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-

solving skills.

Certifications

 ISTQB Certified Tester (Preferred)

 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or relevant Azure certification

 Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) is an added advantage
