Designation: QA Engineer

Location: Bangalore Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test strategies for firmware/software validations

Perform functional, system, regression testing on embedded platforms

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for firmware validations

Ensure end-to-end validation including hardware-software integrations

Analyze logs, issue/bug and work closely with developers to resolve defects





Create and maintain test reports, documentation, and traceability matrices

Continuously improve test processes, automation coverage, and quality metric

Participate in verification and validation activities Must have skills

Primary skills

Robust experience in firmware/embedded testing and validation

Mandatory expertise in test automation (Python preferred, C# is a plus, FITNESS

Experience in developing automation frameworks

Hands-on experience with hardware interfaces and tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer), Reading Schematics

Experience with communication protocols (communication stacks) (Ethernet and others)Familiarity with test management tools (e.g. JIRA, qTest)Experience in log analysis and debugging issues Secondary skills:

Experience and hands-on with continuous integration (CI/CD) tools (JENKINS, GitLab)

Exposure to hardware testing setups

Understanding coding standards and compliance

Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. Comprehensive knowledge of SDLC/STLC

Experience in performance and stress testing of firmware
