Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with 7+ years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks for modern web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in JavaScript-based automation technologies, API testing, and frontend testing, with a passion for delivering high-quality software in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, execute, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks.

- Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, UI, and end-to-end testing.

- Build automation solutions using Playwright and Cypress.

- Create and maintain test scripts using JavaScript and TypeScript.

- Perform API testing and automation using Axios and other relevant tools.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.

- Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

- Maintain test documentation, automation reports, and quality metrics.

Required Skills





- 7+ years of experience in QA Automation with strong expertise in designing and maintaining automation frameworks.

- Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, Jest, and Storybook.

- Strong programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python.

- Experience with API automation and testing using Axios.

- Positive understanding of Vite, npm, and modern JavaScript development workflows.

- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, DOM, and browser behavior.

- Experience with BrowserStack and cross-browser compatibility testing.

- Familiarity with Git, Slack, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and software testing best practices.

- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems is preferred.

- Excellent analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience testing React or other modern frontend applications.

- Exposure to cloud-based testing environments.

- Knowledge of performance and accessibility testing is an added advantage.

Education

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
