About The Role We are seeking an experienced Application Analyst specializing in Technical Documentation to join our dynamic team at Highbrow Technology Inc. The successful candidate will play a critical role in analyzing existing applications, understanding their architecture, and creating detailed technical documentation that supports ongoing maintenance, knowledge transfer, and future development initiatives. This position requires a highly analytical mindset, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of application ecosystems, including APIs, databases, and infrastructure components.

The Application

Analyst will collaborate closely with developers, support teams, and business stakeholders to ensure comprehensive documentation that facilitates seamless operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5-6 years of experience in application analysis,



business analysis, technical documentation, or application support. Proven expertise in application analysis, technical writing, and Python development is mandatory. Candidates should have a solid understanding of web applications, APIs, databases, and cloud environments, particularly Azure.

Familiarity with programming languages such as PHP, Symfony, and JavaScript, along with experience working with MySQL and Linux systems, is highly preferred. Proficiency with documentation and diagramming tools like Confluence, Jira, Visio, or Lucidchart is essential. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required.

Responsibilities Analyze application functionality, architecture, integrations, and data flows to gain a comprehensive understanding of the systems.

Collaborate effectively with developers, support teams, and business stakeholders to gather information and clarify technical details.

Review source code, databases, APIs, and infrastructure components to identify key technical aspects and dependencies.

Prepare detailed technical documents, including architecture diagrams, process flows, and support runbooks,



ensuring clarity and accuracy.

Develop knowledge transfer materials and comprehensive support documentation to facilitate onboarding and ongoing maintenance.

Identify opportunities for system enhancements and document recommendations for future improvements.

Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues by providing well-documented solutions and guidance.

Maintain up-to-date documentation repositories, ensuring accessibility and version control.
