Purchasing & Order Management:

Manage the procurement of pharmaceutical products based on forecasts and inventory needs.

Place and track orders, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.

Approve purchase requisitions from departments.

Supplier Relations

Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure favourable terms.

Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and address supplier issues.

Inventory Management

Monitor stock levels and initiate orders to avoid shortages/excess.

Work with inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels and expiration management.

Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:

Ensure purchased products comply with GMP, FDA, and other regulations.

Maintain accurate purchase records in line with legal requirements.

Market Research & Analysis:

Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and new developments.





Identify cost-saving opportunities and evaluate supplier performance.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain purchase order records and submit regular reports on purchasing activities.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work with sales, marketing, and logistics to ensure timely product availability.

Skills: Robust negotiation and vendor management skills.

Analytical abilities to assess trends and cost-saving opportunities.

Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and regulatory requirements.

Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Excel.

Experience: Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry (preferred):

Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is highly advantageous.

Procurement Experience

At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in procurement, with experience in negotiating contracts, managing vendors, and handling procurement.
