Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and technically sound Purchase Engineer/Executive to join our Tech Support Industry Division team. The candidate will be responsible for handling procurement activities related to technical and industrial components, vendor development, sourcing, negotiation, and coordination with internal departments to ensure smooth procurement operations and timely material availability. Key Responsibilities

Handle procurement and purchasing activities for industrial and technical components.

Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors for mechanical, electrical, and electronic items.

Manage RFQ preparation, quotation analysis, negotiation, and purchase order processing.

Coordinate with production, stores, planning, and technical teams for material requirements.

Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials as per project schedules.

Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance regularly.





Work on cost optimization and alternate vendor development initiatives.

Handle ERP entries and procurement documentation.

Monitor inventory levels and support material planning activities.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.

Strong knowledge of technical purchase and procurement processes.

Experience in vendor development and supplier management.

Positive negotiation and communication skills.

Knowledge of ERP systems and procurement documentation.

Understanding of industrial components, engineering materials, and BOM handling.

Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams effectively.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate

Profile

Experience in industrial automation, engineering, manufacturing, or machine industry preferred.

Exposure to technical procurement of mechanical/electrical/electronic components.

Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualification

B.E./B.Tech Mechanical /Bachelors in Commercial Background

OR

Diploma with relevant industrial procurement experience
