1. Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in Purchase, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Development and Vendor Management.

Note- Candidates with less than 10 years of relevant experience will not be eligible.
1. Hydraulic / Fluid Power Industry Purchase Experience – STRONGLY PREFERRED

Experience in the following product categories will be a significant advantage: Hydraulic hoses and hose assemblies

Hydraulic hose fittings and adapters

Tube fittings and instrumentation fittings

DIN 2353 / ISO 8434 hydraulic fittings

Metric, BSP, NPT, JIC, ORFS, SAE and other hydraulic connection systems

Direct experience with hydraulic hoses, hydraulic fittings or fluid-power products will be considered a major advantage

1. Strategic Sourcing & Cost Reduction
2. Must be capable of understanding technical specifications, drawings and commercial offers.

Experience in hydraulic hoses, hose assemblies, hydraulic fittings, tube fittings, adapters, metal/PTFE hoses, couplings, flanges, tubes, valves and other fluid-power products will be a major advantage. Knowledge of DIN, EN, ISO, SAE, BSP, JIC, ORFS and Metric standards is preferred.

Role Description The Purchase and Material Planning Manager will oversee end-to-end procurement and material planning activities to support production operations at the Khed facility. This full-time, on-site role involves forecasting material requirements, coordinating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely availability of components and raw materials.

The Manager will monitor inventory levels, align material plans with production schedules, and optimize stock to reduce shortages and excess. Daily responsibilities include analyzing demand trends, collaborating with production, logistics, and quality teams, and maintaining accurate data in planning and ERP systems. The role also includes evaluating supplier performance, driving cost-effective purchasing strategies,



and supporting continuous improvement in materials management processes.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in managing technical procurement, supplier development, price negotiation, cost reduction and supplier performance is compulsory.
- Candidates should possess strong Demand Planning and Production Planning skills to align material requirements with manufacturing and customer needs.
- Candidates should possess solid Materials Management and Inventory Control skills to maintain optimal stock levels and ensure smooth production flow.
- VENDOR DEVELOPMENT – MANDATORY
- Must have strong hands-on experience in, Current supplier identification and development, Supplier qualification and capability assessment Alternate supplier development Localization / import substitution Supplier audits and performance improvement Supplier capacity and delivery development
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, forecast requirements, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in ERP or MRP systems and MS Excel for planning, reporting, and process monitoring.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering, supply chain, operations, or a related field; Min. 10 Years relevant experience in manufacturing or hydraulics is an advantage.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work on-site in chakan , with a focus on reliability, attention to detail, and continuous improvement.
