Role & responsibilities
We are looking for a Part-Time Project Manager to take ownership of the planning, coordination, and delivery of a specific product module within our larger multi-product platform.
Each Project Manager will be responsible for managing one module and coordinating with the relevant Product, UI/UX, Frontend, Backend, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure the module is planned, developed, tested, and delivered successfully.
This role requires strong ownership, organization, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to keep multiple teams aligned and projects progressing without requiring full time involvement
- Take end-to-end ownership of the assigned product module.
- Understand module requirements, scope, objectives, and expected outcomes.
- Break down requirements into clear tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
- Create and maintain project plans, timelines, priorities, and dependencies.
- Coordinate with Product, UI/UX, Frontend, Backend, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Ensure requirements, designs, and technical expectations are clearly communicated to the relevant teams.
- Track task progress, blockers, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
- Conduct regular project follow-ups and ensure work remains on schedule.
- Identify potential delays and risks early and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate handoffs between design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure the module meets agreed requirements, scope, and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain clear project documentation, task updates, and status reports.
- 510 years of experience in Project Management, Technical Project Management, Product Management, or a similar role.
- Proven experience managing software development projects from planning through delivery.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams.
- Strong project planning, task management, prioritization, and scheduling skills.
- Ability to manage timelines, dependencies, risks, blockers, and deliverables.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects or product modules.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools.
- Ability to understand technical discussions and communicate effectively with engineers, designers, QA, and other stakeholders.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
