About The Role The Projects Manager/Sr.

Project

Manager at HNB Engineers Pvt. Ltd will play a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end management of sewage treatment plants (STP) and wastewater treatment projects, particularly in greenfield settings. This position demands a highly skilled professional capable of managing multidisciplinary teams, ensuring projects adhere to approved designs, budgets, and schedules, while maintaining strict compliance with environmental and safety standards.

The role involves close coordination with clients, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to deliver projects successfully.

The Projects

Manager will report directly to the Sr. VP/VP/Director and will be instrumental in planning, executing, and monitoring project activities to meet organizational goals.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in water and wastewater treatment plant projects, especially in project planning, site management, and vendor coordination, is essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong technical knowledge of STP/WTP construction, pipeline laying (RCC/DI/MS/SS),



and related civil and mechanical components.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills are required. Prior experience working with government organizations and handling civil and mechanical estimation will be advantageous.

Responsibilities Review and approve design documents, including general arrangement (GA) drawings and mechanical erection plans, ensuring alignment with project specifications and tender requirements.

Lead project planning activities, including developing detailed project timelines, resource allocation, and budget management to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to facilitate smooth project execution, including erection, commissioning, and handover of sewage treatment facilities.

Manage multidisciplinary teams on-site, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project schedules.

Establish and maintain effective communication channels with clients, vendors, consultants, and internal teams to facilitate project progress and resolve issues promptly.

Monitor project performance through MIS reports, progress tracking, and regular review meetings, making adjustments as necessary to meet project objectives.

Oversee civil and mechanical construction activities, including the erection of equipment such as air blowers, pumps, decanters,



screens, piping, and valves, ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained.

Prepare bills of quantities (BOQ), bills of materials (BOM), and technical documentation for installation and commissioning activities.

Coordinate with safety teams to ensure all work permits are obtained and safety regulations are strictly followed, aiming for safe project completion within man-hours.

Estimate civil and mechanical components, manage workforce deployment, and oversee site activities, including landscaping and civil repairs.

Facilitate client billing processes, vendor material dispatch, and technical support to ensure seamless project flow.

Engage with consultants for document approvals and oversee site activities to ensure timely project completion within budget constraints.
