Project Management Intern (Non-IT | Social Impact & Events)

Internship Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Minimum 30 hours per week)

Duration: 6 Months

Industry: Non-Profit Organization Management

Only candidates who have completed Graduation are eligible

⚠️ This is a Non-IT Project Management role.

This role is focused on project managing events, social-impact initiatives (not technical/software project management) involving remote teams and collaborators. Role Purpose:

The Project Management Intern will act as the execution anchor for high-impact initiatives under Omysha Foundation, ensuring structured implementation through:

Strong Project Management discipline

Proactive Risk Management

Structured Issue Management

Continuous Quality Assurance

Strategic Resource Mobilization

This role is not about coordination - it requires ownership, accountability, and execution intelligence. Selected intern's key result areas include:

Understanding and Mapping the Process to be managed

Understanding the people competencies required

Equipping the project with resources and people

Risk management, resource management, and quality assurance

Bring role clarity and expectations to the people involved

Identify, report, rezsolve, and escalate the risks in the execution of the processes on time and as per quality.

Core Responsibility Areas: 1. End-to-End Planning & Execution Leadership The PM Intern is responsible for:

Translating vision into an execution roadmap

Breaking down project goals into phase-wise milestones

Defining timelines, deliverables, and ownership

Ensuring every function knows what, when, and how to deliver

Monitoring progress and driving execution rigor

Ensuring alignment between strategy and ground-level action

? The PM does not just coordinate - the PM plans and drives the entire execution cycle. 2.

Future Risk

Management (Anticipation & Mitigation Planning)

This is proactive.

The PM must

Identify potential future risks before they occur

Think ahead about

Timeline delays

Team performance gaps

Resource shortages

Quality dilution

Stakeholder disengagement

Maintain a structured Risk Register

Create mitigation plans in advance

Define early warning indicators

Review risks periodically and update action plans

? The PM must anticipate future breakdowns and design preventive mechanisms. 3.

Issue

Management (Ongoing Problem Resolution)





This is reactive and continuous.

The PM must

Identify current execution issues immediately

Log and categorize issues based on severity

Define resolution plans

Assign accountability for fixing issues

Escalate critical blockers when required

Ensure closure and prevent recurrence

? Issues are real-time problems. The PM ensures structured resolution and learning. 4.

Quality

Assurance (Execution Standards)

Define clear quality benchmarks

Review deliverables before release

Ensure communication, documentation, and outputs meet defined standards

Protect the integrity and credibility of the initiative 5.

Resource

Mobilization & Alignment

Identify competency gaps

Align people based on strengths

Ensure the right person is in the right role

Ensure resource availability for each phase

Support stakeholder coordination when required Duration:6 Months (Monday to Saturday) Stipend:

Rs. 5,000 per month for the first 2 months

Rs 7,500 per month for months 3 and 4, subject to a performance rating of 4/5 and above

Rs. 10,000 per month for months 5 and 6, subject to a performance rating of 4/5 and above The above stipend amounts are for a minimum of 30 hours per week of time investment. Perks:
