Role Description The Professional Nurse role at KLC Hospitals is a full-time, on-site position based in Basantpur.

The Professional

Nurse will provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, assisting with procedures, and supporting recovery plans under the guidance of physicians and senior clinicians. Daily responsibilities include documenting patient assessments, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining infection control standards, and ensuring the safe use of medical equipment.



The role also involves educating patients and families about treatment plans, discharge instructions, and preventive health practices.

The Professional

Nurse is expected to uphold hospital policies, participate in quality improvement activities, and contribute to a respectful, patient-centered care environment.

Qualifications Recognized nursing qualification (e.g., Diploma or Bachelor’s in Nursing) and valid skilled registration/licensure as required by local regulations.

Demonstrated clinical skills in patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and basic emergency response.

Experience or strong interest in multispeciality settings such as neurology, orthopedics, surgery, and intensive care units.

Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow hospital protocols for safety, infection control, and quality standards.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with doctors, allied health professionals, patients, and families.

Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and remain calm and focused under pressure.

Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, as required by patient care needs.
