Production Supervisor / Production Manager Location: Moradabad

Employment Type: Full-Time We are looking for a highly responsible, hands-on Production Supervisor / Production Manager who can take ownership of production from approved sample to final dispatch. Your Role

You will be responsible for ensuring that every product is manufactured correctly, on time and according to the approved quality standard. This is a hands-on production role. You will be expected to spend significant time on the production floor and at vendor/job-worker facilities, identify problems before they cause delays, and ensure commitments are actually executed. Key Responsibilities

Plan and monitor production against PO quantities, approved samples and delivery deadlines.

Coordinate daily with factory shops, vendors, job workers, craftsmen and internal teams.

Create and maintain production schedules with clear priorities and deadlines.

Follow products through each manufacturing stage—from raw material selection, cutting, casting/fabrication and woodworking to machining, sanding, polishing, coating, plating, finishing, assembly, packaging and dispatch.

Supervise woodworking processes including timber selection and seasoning, cutting, sizing, joinery, routing, turning, CNC machining, carving, sanding, veneer application, edge finishing and assembly.

Monitor wood finishing processes including surface preparation, sanding/sealer application, staining, colour matching, PU finishes, melamine, lacquer, transparent coats, matte/gloss finishes, polishing and final buffing.

Identify and prevent common wood-related quality issues including warping, cracking, moisture problems, uneven sanding, open joints, veneer lifting, colour variation, finishing marks,



bubbles, pinholes and inconsistent gloss levels.

Conduct regular in-line, mid-line, pre-final and final inspections.

Ensure production matches approved samples, drawings, dimensions, colours, finishes and workmanship standards.

Identify defects, bottlenecks and delays early and implement corrective action immediately.

Control rejection, rework and wastage while maintaining quality.

Ensure the correct quantity and quality of raw materials/components are available before production stages begin.

Coordinate between multiple vendors where different processes are required for a single product.

Maintain accurate production status reports and provide management with clear daily updates.

Verify finished quantities before packing and dispatch.

Ensure packaging is executed according to approved specifications and products are adequately protected for export transportation.

Take complete ownership of production timelines rather than waiting for problems to be escalated. What We're Looking For

4–5+ years of experience in production supervision/management, preferably in home décor, handicrafts, furniture, metalware, export manufacturing or related industries.

Strong practical understanding of wood, metal and mixed-material manufacturing processes.

Experience working with wood, resin and metal products particularly brass,



stainless steel, aluminium and iron - is a must.

Practical knowledge of woodworking, joinery, CNC/routing, turning, sanding, veneer work, wood assembly and furniture construction is required.

Strong understanding of wood finishing systems including stains, sealers, PU, melamine, lacquer, clear coats, polishing, matte/gloss finishes and colour matching.

Knowledge of metal processes such as casting, fabrication, welding, machining, polishing, electroplating, PVD/finishing and assembly is a must.

Ability to understand technical drawings, dimensions, tolerances, samples and quality specifications.

Strong vendor and job-worker network and management skills.

Excellent attention to detail and a strong eye for surface finishing, colour consistency and workmanship.

Ability to handle multiple products and production stages simultaneously.

Comfortable travelling regularly between factories/vendors and being physically present wherever production requires attention.

Strong follow-up and problem-solving ability.

Basic proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, WhatsApp and production reporting.
