We work extensively on a made-to-order model and offer sizes ranging from standard sizing to plus sizes and customised fits. As the brand continues to grow, we are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Production Merchandiser who can take ownership of the journey of an order from the time it is received until it is ready for dispatch.
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Production Merchandiser to oversee day-to-day order planning, production coordination, material availability, quality control and timely completion of customer orders.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working closely with the production team, tailors, embroidery team, fabric vendors and management and should be able to identify potential delays before they affect dispatch timelines.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong follow-up skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a detailed daily order sheet of all orders received through the website and other sales channels.
Record complete order details including product, size, colour, customisation requirements, order date and expected dispatch date.
Prepare and maintain a clear production schedule for every order.
Check the availability of fabric, embroidery, trims, buttons, zippers, lining and any other materials required for each order.
Immediately identify shortages of fabric, embroidery or trims and coordinate with the concerned vendors/team to arrange them.
Ensure fabrics and embroidery required for upcoming orders are planned and arranged in advance to avoid production delays.
Coordinate with the cutting, stitching, embroidery, finishing and ironing teams to ensure orders move smoothly through every stage of production.
Track every order from fabric allocation → cutting → embroidery → stitching → finishing → quality check → packing → dispatch.
Conduct regular follow-ups with the production team to ensure committed timelines are being met.
Maintain a daily status report showing which orders are pending, in production, ready for QC and ready for dispatch.
Prioritise urgent orders and orders approaching their dispatch deadline.
Identify possible production delays in advance and immediately escalate them to management.
Oversee quality control of finished garments before dispatch.
Check garments for correct measurements, sizing, fit, stitching quality, embroidery placement, finishing, stains, damages, loose threads and other defects.
Ensure customised orders have been made exactly according to the customer’s specifications.
Coordinate corrections or alterations wherever required and ensure they are completed promptly.
Make sure every garment passes the required quality standards before it is approved for packing.
Coordinate with the packing and dispatch team to ensure completed orders are dispatched within the promised timeline.
Maintain proper records of fabric, embroidery and production requirements.
Communicate regularly with management regarding production status, delayed orders, material shortages and any operational issues.
Help improve production processes and systems as order volumes increase.

apparel merchandising, fashion merchandising or production coordination is preferred.

Ability to understand measurements, size charts and basic garment specifications.
Strong attention to detail, especially with regard to garment quality and finishing.
Excellent organisational and follow-up skills.
Ability to manage multiple orders and production deadlines simultaneously.
Should be proactive and capable of identifying and solving production-related issues.
Comfortable coordinating with tailors, production workers, embroidery units and vendors.
Basic computer knowledge is essential.
Should be comfortable using Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets, WhatsApp and basic email communication.
Ability to prepare and maintain daily production and order-tracking reports.
Good communication skills in Hindi; basic English communication would be preferred.
Responsible, dependable and willing to take ownership of production timelines.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who does not simply update production sheets but takes complete ownership of getting an order completed on time.
The right candidate should constantly know:
Which orders have been received.
Which orders need to go into production.
